Homeschool: London Town and the Sea
Sail away with London Town to learn what living as a sailor in the Colonial Chesapeake was like. Dive into nautical history and navigate through some of the challenges 18th century seafarers faced. Get your feet wet with some hands-on activities that teach skills useful for every sailor, no matter what time period.
$8 for member children ages 6-12
$10.50 for non-member children ages 6-12.

Plant Prints Workshop
Bring some botany home for your walls. Using a variety of leaves and natural objects, create and frame your own unique print. The program will conclude with a guided garden tour to point out the stunning array of leaves you can see in our 10-acre woodland gardens.

Weekends in the Workshop: Leather Work
What do jeans, suitcases, book covers, shoes, and saddles (to name a few) have in common? In the 18th century, these were all items produced with leather.
Come talk with a trained leatherworker to learn all the things leather can be, and how it was an inescapable part of everyday life in Colonial America.

Help in the search for pollinators and learn how even the smallest creatures make a big impact on the environment. Take a walk through the gardens and play games to find out how we keep the gardens beautiful and our grocery stores full thanks to the important work the birds, bugs, and bees do.

Fundraising Gala
Tickets are on sale for our annual spring Gala, London Town in Bloom!
Join us for a delicious dinner by Zeffert and Gold, an open bar, silent and live auction, and dancing the night away to help provide history and nature programs to thousands of visitors who learn about London Town's historical, archaeological, and horticultural offerings.

In this hour-long class, you'll enjoy mimosas and learn how to create beautiful arrangements for bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and more. While enjoying time with mom (or your bestie!), you'll each craft a gorgeous centerpiece to take home.
