Maryland Day 2012 a Success
On Sunday, March 25 Historic London Town and Gardens celebrated Maryland Day with our first living history day of the season.  Visitors were able to see, hear, and experience military drills, musket fire, artillery fire, hearth cooking, and living history while also enjoying the site and help create a multi-media quilt that will be on display starting in May.  Even though the weather turned cool, windy, and a bit wet, we had about 100 people visit on Sunday.

We want to particularly thank all of costumed re-enactors and military units who have helped make this day and others very successful.
Units represented on Maryland Day were:
Maryland Loyalists
His Majesty's Marines
84th Regiment of Foot 2nd Battalion
Artillery Company W
Hessian Regiment von Huyn
