30th Annual Daffodil Show

The 30th Annual Daffodil Show and Standard Flower Show will be held Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, Maryland. The show is sponsored by the District II, Federated Garden Clubs of Maryland. The theme this year is “The Daffodils Are In The House!” Daffodils may be entered in horticultural categories and in floral design competitions. Horticultural specimens, fresh flower arrangements, miniature arrangements and small design categories will be on display at the Visitor Center at Historic London Town and Gardens, 839 Londontown Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. The show is open to the public Friday, April 9, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 10 from 10:00a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All visitors can view the daffodil exhibits and take a guided-tour of the National Historic Landmark William Brown House and London Town’s Ornamental and Woodland Gardens, which feature extensive collection of daffodils and other spring flowers. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for youth, and free for members of London Town.
