Camellia Tour and Tea

Tour at 1:00 pm – Tea at 2:30 pm
Join London town's first horticulturist, Tony Dove,
for an in-depth tour of the Woodland Garden,
featuring our extraordinary collection of Camellias.
Learn about Dr. William Ackerman's development
of cold-hardy camellias. Afterwards, enjoy tea,
Camellia sinensis, served with sweet and savory
treats. Signed copies of Dr. Ackerman's latest
book, Beyond the Camellia Belt, will be
available for sale in the Pavilion.

colonists living in London Town during the 18th
century. Help prepare a hearth-cooked meal and enjoy the
results of your labor! The same program will be offered
each day. there is limited space, so reservations

Native Americans. Help participate in a
demonstration of hearth-cooking.

Create a unique holiday wreath - add natural greenery,
bows and ornaments to an evergreen base.
Creative Workshop

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Create a festive kissing balls, topiary trees and
custom centerpieces.
A special activity for kids - a table of fun crafts
Materials and expert guidance available at both workshops.
Adult Admission to each event - $35.00
Children (under 12) admitted with an adult for
the afternoon session - $15.00
