Camellia Celebration for the Gardens' Restoration

Sunday, November 6, 2016

3:30 – 6pm

Pavilion

Help raise $5,000 to restore the gardens!

Explore our unique cold-hardy camellias before then enjoying heavy refreshments and tea in the pavilion, encircled by the ornamental gardens.

Our goal will help with priority needs in restoring the gardens to their original vision, such as removing dead trees and limbs and clearing out invasive plants. If the initial goal of $5,000 is reached, additional funds will help towards thinning out branches, opening up river views, and creating light windows.

All donors will receive a London Town “surprise” camellia from the gardens. Individuals who donate or pledge $500 or more will also receive an unframed camellia photograph taken by Dinsmoor “Dinny” White.

Attendance is free. RSVP if able to attend by Friday, October 28th. Limited seating available.
