Learning at London Town
"Learning at London Town" is a new series of on-site educational programs for children. In these themed monthly programs, your children will enjoy a safe, socially distanced space to learn about science and history with their peers.
-
Each program is 2 hours and will be taught by trained Museum Educators.
-
Programs are specifically geared toward children grades 1 - 4.
-
Each program will be conducted in small groups with appropriate safety measures.
Choose which time works best for your family:
-
Wednesday afternoons to align with Anne Arundel County Public Schools' (AACPS) half day
-
Saturday mornings
We look forward to seeing your students here!

To ensure the safety of participants and staff, we have instituted specific policies for these programs.

COVID-19 Policies
To ensure the safety of participants and staff, the following policies are in place for these programs:
Groups will be kept intentionally small and will be comprised of only the children who have paid for the program and a few chaperones. To limit the exposure to non-family members, we are requesting that no older or younger siblings attend the program. These siblings, along with their parents, will be welcome to explore the property during the session at no extra charge. We will request a few parents accompany their children through the program, so if you would like to chaperone, you are welcome to do so (again, unfortunately we can only offer this opportunity to solo adults).
We are initially only opening each session to 15 children, but we will have a wait list open. If we have a significant number of children on the wait list, we may open up to 15 more children. If we open up the session to a full 30 children, we reserve the right to divide the children into the groups we decide are best for safety.
All programs will occur outside, and will proceed rain or shine, so dress for the weather! For safety reasons, these programs will not use the main Visitor Center, except for restroom visits.
All supplies will be sanitized before and after every program.
Children and any adult chaperones will need to remain masked at all times during the programs. We understand that masks are challenging, especially for children. If your child will struggle to wear a mask for two hours, we recommend exploring London Town and its grounds at a different time.
Given the ever-shifting nature of this year, we may unfortunately need to cancel the program at any time. We will immediately contact you via the email address you provide if we need to cancel, and we will refund your program costs. If anyone in your family is feeling unwell, we ask that you do not attend the program, and we will give you a full refund. If you choose to not attend for another reason, we will provide a full refund until one week prior to the program, after which we are unable to offer refunds (unless the prior conditions are met).
