Facilities Assistant (P/T - Temporary)

Position Description

Overview

London Town is looking to hire a part-time, temporary facilities assistant position. The position will assist with general building facilities needs (fixing door locks, minor painting, etc.) and janitorial needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Ability to operate various power tools such as drills, saws, etc.

  • Willingness and ability to perform physical work outside in all weather conditions

  • Ability to carry, climb, stoop, reach, dig and load and unload various objects

Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work independently or as part of a team

  • Certain tasks will require working outside in a variety of weather conditions

Work Schedule

This is an 14-21 hour per week position (usually two-three 7-hour days). Days will be a mixture of weekday and weekend. Work hours will normally occur between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Some evening hours will occur. The schedule is usually created at least 2-3 weeks in advance.


The position is scheduled to work September through mid-November 2020.

Wage

$17 per hour.
