2018 Colonial Adventures Summer Camp
July 30 - August 3, 2018
At Colonial Adventures, campers live the lives of children 300 years ago by wearing period clothing, cooking over a fire, making colonial crafts to take home, playing lots of colonial games, and taking part in an optional overnight in our historic William Brown House for campers ages 10 and up.
They'll feel like they've traveled back in time! (Without the smallpox or chamber pots, of course.)
Dates & Times

9:00 am to 3:30 pm
Optional before and after care: 8-9 am and 3:30-5:30 pm
Ages
Campers must have completed 1st through 6th grades in the 2017-2018 school year.
Typical Daily Schedule
9:00 am: Daily opening
9:15 am: Group activity
9:45 am: Morning activities (games, crafts, hearth cooking)
12:00 pm: Lunch
12:30 pm: Afternoon activities (games, crafts, etc.)
3:00 pm: Group activity
3:15 pm: Closing activity
3:30 pm: Camper pick-up
Optional Overnight
Campers ages 10 and up may also stay overnight on Thursday in one of our historic buildings. We’ll cook our own dinner over a hearth fire and watch a movie outdoors before sleeping in our historic William Brown House. (Additional fee for overnight.)
Staff
Our dedicated camp staff are museum and education professionals with degrees in history, archaeology, museum studies, and education as well as a wealth of experience in child care professions.
Junior Counselors
Want to attend Colonial Adventures but you are too old to be a camper? We are looking for some young adults to serve as Junior Counselors this summer.
Junior Counselors help present and teach activities, manage the group, and set a positive example for the campers. It will be a lot of fun, but it is still a lot of work also, so we are looking for young adults who are reliable, mature and have a positive attitude.

Fees
$325.00 per child
Discounts: $300.00 per child for London Town Members, Family level or higher -or- $315.00 per child for 2 or more children
Overnight: $75
Before care: $30 per week (or $8 per day)
After care: $50 per week (or $13 per day)
Payment Policies
$75 deposit required to hold registration
Full payment must be received by May 30
Refunds: Half of the camp fee is refundable if canceled 30 days before camp start date. No refunds given for cancellations within 29 days of camp start date, except under extreme circumstances.
