Photo Shoots at London Town

Are you interested in having a photo shoot at London Town? Are you a professional photographer seeking a beautiful setting for milestone portraits?

We’re delighted you’re considering our property.!

 

Please note that photo shoots are defined as all posed portraiture of individuals or groups by professional or amateur photographers, whether paid or unpaid. Our full photography policy is available online, with key highlights below.

Photo Session Fees

Photo sessions are charged per two-hour block.

During museum hours, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

$125 for groups of 1–5 people,

$175 for groups of 6–9 people

$250 for groups of 10 or more. Groups over 10 require special approval.

After-hours sessions, offered Tuesdays through Saturdays between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, are $300 per two-hour block.

Additional fees may apply for sessions ending later than 8:00 PM.

Please note that after-hours sessions are currently very limited due to weddings and staffing constraints. While you are welcome to submit a request, availability cannot be guaranteed.

We understand many photographers are seeking golden hour sessions and appreciate your flexibility.

Reservations

Requests for photography sessions must be submitted at least one week in advance for sessions held during museum hours and at least two weeks in advance for sessions held outside of museum hours. Reservations are approved up to four days prior to the requested session date.

All photographers are required to check in at the Visitor Center upon arrival and before capturing any images, unless otherwise instructed.

Photo sessions require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold the reservation. The deposit is due either two weeks after receiving confirmation and invoice or at the time of booking, whichever is closer to the reservation date.

In the event of inclement weather, photo sessions may be rescheduled and any fees paid will be applied to the new reservation date.

THE FOLLOWING RULES APPLY TO ALL PHOTOGRAPHY AT HISTORIC LONDON TOWN AND GARDENS:

  • Flow of visitors and London Town activities must not be blocked at any time.

  • Guests, photographers, and their equipment must stay on pathways – walking in plant beds or behind plant beds or placing equipment in beds is prohibited.

  • Plants and planted containers may not be moved, rearranged, or handled in any way. Blooms may not be picked.

  • Visitors may not climb or hang from trees or architectural features.

  • Portrait photography within our historic area buildings must be pre-approved.

  • Any use of electrical equipment, including additional lighting, must be approved in advance of the shoot. All cords or wires must be placed and guarded in a way that doesn’t alter the pathways and put visitors at risk.

  • Photographers will be held accountable for their actions and those of clients, crew members and models if they damage London Town’s facilities and property.

 

If any individual/group does not comply with the above conditions, Historic London Town and Gardens reserves the right to deny permission to photograph and may request that the individual/group leave the premises and forfeit their admission/reservation fee.
