American Indian Heritage Day

Historic London Town and Gardens is happy to welcome Living the American Indian Experience from the Cedarville Band of the Piscataway Indian for American Indian Heritage Day. They will share child-safe archery, dancing, and cultural presentations all day long.
Schedule of Events
11am - 12pm Welcoming and Piscataway History from Piscataway Elders
12pm - 1pm Kentkatam (Let's Dance) program
1pm - 2pm Archery and Hatchet throwing
2pm - 3pm Pouch making with the people of the Potomac River ($10 extra charge)
3pm - 4:30pm Pottery making with historian Debora Moore, a registered Pamunkey tribal member ($10 extra charge)
Note: there is no food service during the event. Visitors are welcome to bring a lunch, and there’s tables and chairs in the exhibit that you are welcome to use. Local restaurants are here.
