New Grant Awarded for Education Pavilion!

Thank you to the Maryland Historical Trust, Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, and the Four Rivers Heritage Area for awarding London Town a grant to construct a much needed education pavilion on-site.

This grant will be more than matched by a generous grant from the Phillips Charitable Foundation and a private donor.

We plan to be ready to serve students in our educational field trips on-site as soon as is safely possible again. These grants will allow us to expand our educational offerings so as to introduce more students to discover history and horticulture in their own backyard. We are incredibly grateful.

The design of the pavilion has been completed by local architect Michael Dowling.
